A crash course on filmmaking in relation to city and architecture, led by Jord den Hollander.
Following the first Film & Architecture Studio in October 2019, we are proud to announce a second edition in September 2020.
The studio will take up 4 days and offers a comprehensive way to use cinematic language in architecture and urban design. From research, scriptwriting and storyboarding, to filming and post production. The course focuses on learning and understanding the narrative of filmmaking. It’s a hands-on studio in which participants will be structuring stories and going through all stages of filmmaking. The studio is a condensed course that offers new ways of exploring the built environment and turning your findings into well-structured and gripping stories. It is a class where students and young professionals are introduced to essential elements of filmmaking and learn how to relate these to architecture and the city. More info will follow soon!
Check out the video's below to see what the participants of last year made.
