We are very happy to announce Anne Geenen and David Schmidt of Site Practice as our guests for School’s Out! #28 on the 28th of October! Site Practice is an architecture and design studio based in Mumbai and Amsterdam and was founded by Anne and David in 2018. The studio approaches each project by committing to a collaborative design process engaging with makers and users from various backgrounds and disciplines. By engaging with the process of making and construction they explore material, cultural and ecological conditions, creating places and objects that have a strong emphasis on detail and become moments of quality in our daily lives. Currently, they are working on a social housing project in Nijmegen, an agricultural education centre in India and several interior and furniture projects.
On the 28th of October, they are going to talk about their approach and current projects. As usual, you can expect drinks, bites, a lecture and a short movie handpicked by AFFR curator Jord den Hollander for School’s Out! Doors open at 18:00, lecture starts at 19:00. Get your tickets here.
